This policy explains what Arcana collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Arcana is made by NONIC Corporation ("we", "us"). We are the controller of your personal data. Contact us at [email protected].
Account. Your email address and sign-in details from email, Google or Apple sign-in. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only see the relay address.
Profile. The name and pronouns you give us, your date of birth (to confirm you're 18 or older), your time zone and language, and your settings, such as quiet hours, how often your partner reaches out and whether calls are on.
Your partner. The choices you make when you create them: name, age, city, personality, job, looks, voice and how you met. It also includes their portrait and the day plans, moods and backstory the app generates for them.
Conversations. The messages, photos and voice notes you send, and the messages, photos and voice notes your partner sends. Before we store a photo you send, we remove its location and other identifying metadata.
Calls. During a call, your voice is streamed to the AI so your partner can answer in real time. We don't record calls. After a call we keep its length and a short text summary, so your partner remembers what you talked about.
Memories. Facts your partner learns from your conversations, such as "your sister gets married in June". You can see them all in Settings and delete any of them.
Purchases. Which plan you have, its trial and renewal dates, and your call minutes. Apple or Google processes your payment, and we never see your card details.
Device and usage. Push notification tokens, app version, device model, operating system, language, and which screens and features you use. We also collect crash reports, which include device state at the time of the crash.
